The photography taken by Daniella Dearden in the Los Roques Archipelago, entitled As de Elías, received the award in the Water Category during the VI Festival photos and videos of adventure Climb 2009.

The celebration took place between Wednesday 17 and Saturday June 20 at the Centro Empresarial Polar.

The 2009 Best Picture Climb was the Base Camp Ptari Tepuy taken by Federico Parra. 

Other images were rewarded in different terms: Hybrid, in the Air Category, by Daniel Angulo; Hummingbird, patience, light, camera and action, in Nature, by Villaverde José, Caracas from the hill, in Scenery, by Andres Azpuru, and Way to heaven, by Beatrice Velenti was the best picture in People and Culture.
